Utilizing experienced stroke coordinators, TETAF has an outstanding team of credentialed stroke surveyors trained to provide survey and consultative services for hospitals seeking Stroke Support Facility (Level III) designation.
Partnering with the Texas Department of State Health Services, TETAF staff provides technical assistance in program development as well as coordination of survey services to ensure a successful Stroke Support Facility (Level III) designation process.
Services available include designation, re-designation and consultative surveys.
TETAF credentialed stroke surveyors will provide the hospital with the required report for submission to the Texas Department of State Health Services, Office of EMS/Trauma for designation or re-designation. While on site, the surveyors will additionally produce a comprehensive Consultation Report for the hospital to use internally to evolve and mature their stroke program. While providing the required evaluation of the Texas Administrative Code 157.133 rule for Stroke Support Facility (Level III) designation, the TETAF survey experience is an educational opportunity for the hospital.
