TETAF Announces the Hiring of a Survey Services Senior Director
TETAF is pleased to announce the search for a survey services senior director concludes with the hiring of Terri Rowden, BSN, RN, TCRN. Terri will manage the trauma and stroke service line operations for TETAF, and provide expertise and collaboration to ensure quality is maintained in all TETAF and Texas Perinatal Services service lines. Terri is a familiar face to many with her active involvement in trauma care across the state. She has served as a trauma surveyor for TETAF for the past 10 years. Most recently, Terri has been the trauma/acute care surgery manager at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. Previously, she was an assistant director, then director, of the Regional Trauma System, Air 1, and FirstComm in Tyler. Terri started her nursing career nearly 30 years ago as a pediatrics and newborn nursery nurse. In addition to her career, Terri is actively involved in the Texas Trauma Coordinators Forum (TTCF) serving as the co-chair of the Membership/Mentorship Committee and she is the co-chair of the Trauma Systems Committee for the Piney Woods Regional Advisory Council (RAC). She is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and Society of Trauma Nurses. Terri has also been an instructor for Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses, Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course, and Trauma Nurses Core Course. In November 2021, Terri was the instructor for the TETAF Trauma Nurse Documentation Webinar. Terri will join the TETAF team during the week of November 14.
